Bush's huge decline in the polls was inevitable
When his father was riding high in the rolls, post Iraq War, Daddy didn't have a cowed press blocking Bill Clinton's message. Add to that the deplorable state of the economy.

Bush Jr. learned that lesson from his father's ill-fated second run.

What we are seeing in the polls today are a true reflection of Bush's presidency as a whole.

You can fool the people for only so long.

3. I will never forgive those big mouthed purple bandaid wearing
clucks I had to endure on my TV screen during convention coverage. Furthermore, I will never forgive all those soft dems and moderate republicans who just buckled. And I will never forgive the supreme court.

5. about those GOP delegates with the purple heart band aids
they are representative of Bush's base.

Note that nothing is too vile for these people - no one is too noble to escape their wrath.

I don't care how distinguished you or your service to this country, they will make a mockery of it, all the time embracing a cowardly chickenhawk of a miserable human being.

17. That really pissed me off
Everytime I see that on the Daily show video I have it really pisses me off so bad. Kerry is a hero and what they did is not forgiveable! Same thing when anybody smears any other vets who speak out against war whether they be Vietnam vets, WW2 vets, Iraq vets or whatever. They deserve the right to speak out!

20. It takes a real sicko -
- an unpatriotic one at that, to mock a Vietnam veteran that way. To totally disrespect Kerry's service when Shrub himself was a spoiled little draft dodger! Yet these people claim to be "proud patriots."

Right.

The depth of their hypocrisy is unfathomable.

And is there a chart that shows enough detail to show this and other low spots and spikes compared to events?

9. AAR is the cause of poll drop: Franco, Taiwan, Europe Middle Ages prove
Edited on Mon Aug-08-05 11:02 PM by oscar111
you can fool people for a long long time.

granted, franco had a tighter grip, and Taiwan's military law group did too.

Europe in the middle ages might be a better comparison.

Or.. USA, 1776 to 1861. Slavery not voted out of existence. People passive with "the way things are", for about 85 years.

Or,.. USA, 1776 to about 1911.. no child labor law banning work by kids. I have read, 1850.. six year old girls and boys used to pull coal carts up and out of mines.
About 135 years of people not waking up and massively disaproving of the way things are.

You CAN fool people for a long time.

13. Fencesitters listen to AAR: their views change as a result
Swingvoters is another name for them

Clinton said "a third is the RW base, a third is LW base, and a third is up for grabs" My paraphrase.

AAR is grabbing those like crazy.

15. Down to Paraguay to visit Adolf
Adolf has been pulling the strings of our puppet for many years. Writing speeches, planning policy.

telling Rove what to do.

Now bush is headed for the Paraguay compound.

{ a little humor, folks. }

18. AAR up to 66 stations: Bush down to 41%. Cause and effect.
Edited on Mon Aug-08-05 11:21 PM by oscar111
bush did foul deeds before AAR, and polls ok.

He does foul deeds now, and polls sink

AAR in dallas, San Antonio, Austin, {corpus cristi?}, Atlanta, new orleans, memphis, Alberqueque, San Diego, the Carolinas.

We are always growing!

The GOP is soon to be just a footnote in history.
