at least wait a little while. Legitimate criticism is fine, but have the sense of decency to give it some time. I mean, the man just died, show some compassion. Peter Jennings wasn't a bad man or anything. He doesn't deserve that.

Jennings was just another TV journalist who went with the flow; ABC's coverage was no different than the rest of the U.S. networks that covered for Bush in 2000, 2004, 9/11, and the Iraq war.

Bernie didn't dance on Jennings' grave; he soberly and matter-of-factly told it like it is. It was not in bad taste at all, in my opinion. And for the record, I actually liked Jennings (or his persona, at least).
