I've just arranged anorder with the smokehouse in Crawford for sanwiches & water for 20.

However, the place cannot deliver and will not process my order until they can confirm someone will pick it up.

Can someone please provide me with a phone contact number down there so this order can get under way?

CRAWFORD — Crawford Peace House and Friends of Peace and Justice are calling on nation-wide supporters of Cindy Sheehan to aid her vigil to meet with President Bush in any way possible.

The groups are accepting monetary donations as well as food, water, other camping supplies, and of course, prayers that will aide Sheehan and future demonstrations.

Hadi Jawad, Peace House board member, said that a PayPal account will be up on the Peace House’s website soon (www.crawfordpeacehouse.org).

For information on wiring funds, call Johnny Wolf (469-879-2227) or email ([e-mail]).

16. I really wish someone could just explain to me..

in a more logical way, why the GSFP.org paypal cant be used. It is already set up and it seems like there are alot of people waiting to donate.


It makes absolutely 0 sense to me, even knowing that the peace house is home base.


And can anyone illuminate what the deal is with the phone?

I would suggest to use this PO Box address for donations. The Crawford address is going to get a flood of cards and letters. So the checks might get lost in the shuffle.

10. i sent 4 trays of sandwiches from subway.for lunch...i had it scheduled

with the people on the ground there yesterday!!
please check with those on the ground..or they will be overwhelmed!!

food..to do it without talking to them will lead to waste and a mess...they are co-ordinating food ..so please contact the people on the ground there before sending stuff..or much will be wasted! and money needlessly spent!

14. UPDATE - All handled

Thank you all for your helpful information. It's amazing to see so many concerned people.

I spoke with Diane at the Peace House and it's all been arranged and they'll send someone in for pick up at a time convenient for them. Diane did say that they're happy with so many people pitching in to help out.

The folks at Jeff's Smokehouse were great - and I'm sure the food is good, so I'm happy it worked out.
