Somebody please explain to me why

we as a country are allowed to develop any type of mass murdering weapon we damn well please, but other countries aren't allowed to?
Why are we allowed to keep the upper hand? Is it so that we can be the bullies?
I have never understood this.
I think ALL nuclear weapons should be banned, but as someone that doesn't see the fairness in it, I want to understand.
At one time when our country was run by decent men, I could understand us being a peacekeeping force, but with these lying sack of shit whoremongering criminals running the country these days--the rest of the world should take away our toys or else build their own stockpiles to protect themselves from Hallibushtoncheneyco.

That's the main reason.

Along with that is an argument that only makes sense if you think that America has acted generally honorably in its history (we've earned it essentially)- I don't get the impression from your post that you think that, so it's unlikely that such an argument is going to move you.

2. I agree. AS much as I would love to see a denuclearized

planet, as long as the US has nukes, no one is safe. If I were from another country, I would want nukes just as protection against the US...
