I'm in tears right now. As a Massachusetts mother of a son who is telling me that is going to volunteer for Iraq, I am so sad but so thankful to Will and Cindy and everyone who is standing up. Tonite a recruiter comes to my home with my son to discuss the situation.

Also today at lunch, several of my friends who are admittedly pro Bush and pro war, brought up Cindy Sheehan and just could NOT understand what she is doing and think its a waste of time! And they are afraid that I will not be supportive of my son because I'm not supportive of the war. (Of course only one of them has children, and she's a brand new mother!) It's been a hard day today!!!

Someone suggested this yesterday and I think it's a great idea. I've watched Current TV a little and there's some good stuff interspersed with a lot of "who gives a shit" stuff. It would be great if some of us started putting together some important stuff to run on the station. I hope Will and TruthOut give it a go.
