Because she can't do anything for him or to further the political and monetary ambitions of the people who support him. If she were a big campaign contributor to the GOP or had a rich uncle who was, he would make the time, but you can be sure the spin on it would be favorable to the cabal and their fearless leader.

He doesn't have even an interest in trying to look presidential for the rest of the citizenry. It shows just how much contempt Bush and the GOP have for the ordinary American.
