17. My sister and I are going!

I posted on DKos last night that I was going to call my sister today and see if I could inspire her. To my surprise, my phone rang at 7:45am this morning and my sister said "What are you doing this weekend? I think we need to take a roadtrip and go down to Crawford, TX to support this poor woman, Cindy Sheehan!"

I was blown away. My sister is liberal (although she looks the part of the conservative soccer mom), but she doesn't normally "act" other than firing off emails. I was totally blown away that she suggested the trip!

Soooo, I have one last work hurdle to clear, but if all goes well, these crazy little Kansas City ladies will be standing on Prairie Chapel Road with Cindy by Friday.

Hope it works out, I really want to make sure this is documented.. I've made three trips overnight from here (Hawaii) in the last month to film events, the Downing Street Memo Hearings in DC, the Town Hall meeting in Detroit with COnyers, etc..

It's killing me but hey, this is worth it, get a MILLION people there so I can film a BIG CROWD if I can make it.. Takebackthemedia.com wouldn't want to miss this for the world!

Estimates I see based on responses is that the crowds are going to be about 75-85% women....men wanted ofcourse, but it looks like the Boy King is going to have an awful lot of Estrogen down there near the Pig Farm....whole lot of pissed off Mom's who want answers.... :grr:
