That's just another way of saying she didn't support him, either. They don't have a leg to stand on.

1. Let's stop making this mistake
If WE don't buy in, it won't be a story. PLEASE let's don't do this again. THEY LIE. Why do they smear a dead soldier's mother? Why don't they report when the President LIES? It's about THEIR BEHAVIOR, not Cindy's.

10. Why do they smear a dead soldier's mother?
For the same reason they smeared two living war heroes.
For the same reason they smeared a former ambassador and his wife.
For the same reason they smeared an ex-Marine and former chief weapons inspector.
For the same reason they smeared the chairman of the IAEA.
For the same reason they smeared a left-wing British MP.
For the same reason they smeared the former counterterrorism czar.

Because all of those people are witness to the lies told by the Bush regime and to its corruption and incompetence.

"Being your political downfall will be the most noble accomplishment of my life .....

Matthew Donaldson, an independent visual artist from Auckland. “On this, the 60th anniversary of Hiroshima's bombing, my grief for all of those murdered and yet to be murdered by America's weapons - of mass destruction or otherwise - overwhelms me” said Matt.

It overwhelms me, as well, Mathew.

Peace.

www.missionnotaccomplished.us - How ever long it takes, the day must come when tens of millions of caring individuals peacefully but persistently defy the dictator, deny the corporatists their cash flow, and halt the evil being done in Iraq and in all the other places the Bu$h neoconster regime is destroying civilization and the environment in the name of "America."

3. Shows what kind of nimrods they are
A mother, still in shock over the loss of her son, didn't criticize Bush...imagine that. If that's their only defense, they need to rethink their strategy.

you are a person with a more compassionate take on the world.

14. Most people would like to think their President is honest.......
and will give him the benefit of the doubt. More so for a Mother who has just lost a son to her President's war.
When the reality sets in, it's difficult to handle. Cindy Sheehan got a heaping helping of reality shortly after her son's death.
It's too bad our President isn't open to that same realization. But, oh yeah, that's right! He STARTED this war because of a personal grudge, didn't he? So I guess there's no realization for him to go through. He already realizes that he started this war on lies and false evidence. Besides, he doesn't owe ANYONE an explanation for ANYTHING he does, he's already told us that. It's good to be King! :grr:

17. I should correct myself. When trauma happens you know what is
most important in the world in terms of compassion. But you also become more discerning as to what are the most important things. Bush is not discerning. And people who think Bush is compassionate are projecting their humanity without discernment onto him.

5. It's such an irrelevant talking point, it sounds like mosquitos buzzing
What difference does it make if she loved Bush and called him the best president since George Washington last year? She could have peeled him a couple of bananas too. She has a right, like everyone else, to examine her beliefs, follow her conscience, and yes, change her mind.

Whoever questions that right and claims the right to judge her is on far shakier ground than Cindy, that's for sure.

Why do the right wing media so assiduously scrutinize the words of a grief filled mother and ignore the words of a lying president?

20. Make it bigger
Copy the whole thing into the sig line space, then put brackets where the parentheses are. It'll show up bigger in your sig line, if you want it that way.

and Cindy has had her spiritual awakening. When the shoe drops, it drops.

Essentially, we all want to support and respect our President, that is the American way. The facts have finally come to the surface and the lies by the administration have run rampant! Cindy and thousands and thousands of honorable American Citizens have just realized they were manipulated ....and they are outraged. :grr:

Why not post, "Cindy has more courage in her little finger than the whole Republican party" or something closer to the truth about this fabulous woman?

19. What I posted was the comeback line
Perhaps you're never confronted by people wanting to sling mud at Cindy. But I was when I went to the supermarket and wore an anti war button. I got into a conversation with a person and Cindy came up. They said she didn't criticize Bush in '04 and I gave them the response I posted. It shut them up.

So, I'll say to you - don't be naive. This is the real world where we need to be armed with simple responses. I'll post what I please and you can hide my thread or put me on ignore. I couldn't care less.

I'm showing them that they're argument is weak. It's a matter of style and I'll choose whatever works for me at the moment. Today, it made the person I spoke with stop and think.

Because they could have come back on you with her words about thanking Bush and his sincerity or some such. Then what would you have done?

Stop arguing with these people. How DARE they attack a woman who lost her son in this war. Why aren't they scrutinizing the LIES of this President.

27. The fact is, my line did work
The person I talked with didn't have a comeback. So what might have happened didn't. Your fantasy didn't occur. In the end, I thanked the woman for stopping me to chat a bit and wished her a good day. I'll do the same to you - Have a good one.

Now, I'm going to go work on my kitchen floor. I rented a scrubber and am going back to tackle it some more. Take care.

I went and worked on the laundry room. The scrubber really works well, thanks. I'm too old to do the deep clean scrub on hands 'n knees any more. So I rent one once a year for the big cleanup. A little late to call it Spring cleaning but better late than never.

Take care!

31. I hear you about the padding!
My closets are getting into shape with the help of the charities who call asking for a donation. I have this trick I play on myself. They call and I never refuse. Then I'm forced to look for at least one or two small things to give away. Over the last few years, my closet and storage places are finally thinning out. I can even find things! Wish I could donate some padding!

16. She explained this not that she needs to explain ANYTHING
She said yesterday: "I met with Bush two and a half months after Casey was killed and I was still in shock at that time. We had decided not to criticize the president then because during that meeting, he assured us 'this is not political.' And I believed him. Then, during the Republican National Convention, he exploited those meetings to justify what he was doing. It's now clear to me that what I had feared is true: Bush lied us into war, and Casey, more than 1,800 other Americans and thousands and thousands of Iraqis are dead because of what he did. ... While Bush is comfortable in his ranch, we are here in a ditch in the heat because we want answers. But the troops and the Iraqi people are suffering way more than we are and we want that to end."

23. Letter to shrub in 2004
Yes Cindy wrote that letter to W in 2004.I read it when she wrote it and thought it was a work of genius. So now they are going to say it is a big secret when it was all over the internet for the last year.
If there is one thing Cindy Sheehan is not it is two faced. What she says about you she says to your face and thats why she sent the letter to george !!!!
I was reading some comments on here about Cindy not looking photogenic in her pictures from Texas.Do you suppose the troops or their families give a damn how she looks???How would you look in 100 degree heat with high humidity and living in a damn tent with no coveniences??
Is this a photo shoot or do we want the cold hard facts of how this country has been betrayed by this evil administration???How many of you have given up a year of your life to travel all over the country without your family and friends, not to mention her 2 dogs and cats to try and bring the truth to the american people??
When I think of Cindy I think of the movie STAR WARS the original.
She is the one fighting darth vader and his evil allies.I want to get her a light lazer to protect her from the evil forces.Have no doubts that she has been in some serious situations since Casey died with threats constantly being hurled at her.Does she ever back down??NO !!!!She would give her life to end this massacre that the bush administration
has created.Do they sleep nights on their silk sheets ,you betcha.Cindy is sleeping in a ditch in a little tent.Ah the luxury of being an elitist !!!!
Get out and support her now and show this bunch of murderers they cant bully you into submitting to them.Remember you are either a sheeple or your own person. On behalf of Cindy I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart.
