What they need down there are some RVs. Wish I owned one and lived closer.

4. we're always under flash flood warnings here |

everything in Texas is bigger including the rain storms. We cant have a nice steady rain ...it always has to piss down buckets. The lightening can be a bit hairy though.

I'm not familiar with Crawford and don't know if there are any low water crossings leading out to the "Ranch", but thought I should post this just to be on the safe side.
We know the drill here, but there are some out of state people heading in who aren't used to our flash floods.

13. I thought the hard ground in Texas is what caused flash flooding. |
|
Hard ground can't absorb water as quickly as soft ground.

7. Ditches can be like raging rivers in heavy rain. |
|
Will the cops let the protestors in the street if the ditches fill up? Or will they just let them drown?

10. This is why I was wondering if anyone had heard if they were OK |
|
I'm not even sure if this rain is hitting where they are. Our storms have a way of being very selective here in Texas, you can be flooding one place and not get a drop 1/2 mile away.

It'd look good on a billboard!
So far as the rain goes, I like to think that God's helping them out a little from the heat.

I thought Cindy herself might be there, but I think I read it wrong. There's a thread over in the Texas forum.
