hehe drudge getting hate because of pop ups

have enjoyed the Drudge report for years now, checking into the site multiple times a day for the latest updates, but in the last couple of weeks, the popups have gotten increasingly more pervasive and annoying... Not to mention his refresh rate has seemed to double in frequency, causing them to pop up more frequently. Today I finally had enough and dropped it from my favorites list, favoring Google News as my regular source for news updates.

Anyone else feel my frustration?

Someone on DU posted some sham story that he has HIV and is spreading the disease among "little Japanese boys" in Miami.

Whether he has AIDS or not, it's a despicable thing to make jokes about the disease in any context.

Gah! I hate mandatory registration! If you want to make it difficult for me to see you're story, don't post it! It's not like I'm going to give you a real email address so you can SPAM me with penis-enlargement advertisements.

Thank-God for BugMeNot, or I would have given up on the NYT and Washington Post altogether.

I run a news portal. It's got no ads, pop-ups or registration unless you want to post. I hope you like it.

It's not as big as DUs LBN, but I counterpoint everything.

PS: My I suggest you switch to a real browser like ForeFox? You will rarely get pop-ups again.
