I get the impression this book is a fatal misstep by B.O. into self-help territory.

Make no mistake, it's selling well (it's in the top 10, after all), but it's being trounced by the book he helped propel to the top of the list a whole freakin' month ago!

That tells me he's failed to galvanize his fan base with this attempt. For being "conservatives," they have a dirty little secret: they think they want people to watch out for themselves, but they really want to be told that their lot in life is all the fault of the libruls.

it's nice to see O'Reilly falling, he peaked at 5.

6. Mitch Albom's book

My girlfriend sat down at Borders with a copy of it, and ended up reading about a third of it before buying it.

Only thing of Albom's I've read is his exquisite column eulogizing Warren Zevon, but that's enough to make a fan out of me.
