Rosa Parks Redux
We are witnessing history in the making- a solitary woman who has the potential to be the catalyst for demanding the RIGHTS of each citizen of this nation be claimed, and re-claimed.

When Rosa, exhausted after a long days work, refused to simply comply with what was expected of her and give up her seat on the bus to a 'white' man, she kindled a movement that changed the nation.

Rosa put a 'face' on the immoral reality of millions- Cindy puts a 'face' on tens of thousands of human beings who have been and are being immorally sacrificed under the 'guise' of 'a noble cause'.

We MUST take up the call, we MUST wake up, stand up- stand up for us ALL-

i don't see this as much as one 'mothers' quest for answers, but rather a seed, planted by a brave, steadfast fellow human being who has had ENOUGH-
A voice who dares hold the 'leader' of this Nation accountable- for all of the rhetoric, lies, and propaganda that has been SOLD to the masses, guided by the best public relations professionals money could buy.

At the cost of THOUSANDS upon thousands of human lives-
And her simple, but profound question is 'Why'?

Let us ALL ask that question of each other, across all political, religious, and personal boundaries, and if anyone can give an HONEST, GENUINE, WORTHWHILE answer-

Then we can all stand together- and prevail.

Silence, and apathy kill as effectively as any weapon.

Thank you Cindy for your spark- i wish it hadn't required the sacrifice of so many bright and shining lives to kindle this flame.

For the rest of us-
Don't let this fire die- fan the flames- breath into the embers and bring light back into the darkness that has blanketed this nation.
And threatens to destroy us more effectively than any terrorist
action ever could.

1. Just wrote a letter to the Editor myself - same topic-
yours is so far superior to mine, and strikes a human cord, that I completely missed.
PLEASE don't let self -doubt stop you - it is perfect.
Now I have to start over and find the same tone.
Thank you for sharing!

We all must remain vigilant and seem to have to do the MSM's job for them.
Not a word in my paper about it, and a quarter page on page 2 about the runaway bride starting her sentence.
It just gags me.

2. thanks,
i tend to be very verbose-
i love words, and play with them mentally alot-(childhood lifesaving habit i haven't been able to overcome)

i'd really enjoy reading your letter if you'd post it-
we can often be our own worst critics, but i can see my flaws so glaringly, just can't seem to 'fix' them.

thanks again Mira-

3. if she can end this war in some way, she deserves the Nobel
Peace Prize. The two women in Ireland got it. She deserves it too.
