I used to do work for a couple of clear channel radio stations, and one cox station that had morning shows identical to this. I knew with enough pressure the management would cave in. The pressure I believe came from corporate Clear Channel in Tampa...

I think I'm going to concede to the possibility that some folks who generally disagree with us realize that Cindy Sheehan has given more to the war than most of us ever will, and that plain old decency requires certain behavior.

At any rate, it seems possible that they realize what the radio station didn't; that this is already a "pro-troops" rally, just as KyndCulture has pointed out. Not to say that they agree with the point of view.
