More disbelief at Freeperville
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/991481/posts

Of course, there are the usual accusations that Wilson's wife was worthless as a spy and should have been outed. Also that this is pre-election year scandal-making.

Brutal bunch over there.

5. Bizarro World is right...they are freaking about this though, and
if you read some of the threads, you'll see just how bizarre it is. They are trying to "analyze" this and saying things like Wilson leaked it himself. <yeah, that's real rational>

Hillary is behind it all. <usual stuff...blame the Clintons>

But they are freaking bec they keep saying "why aren't the Repugs speaking out on this?" Poor babies...

7. Their man Novak said he got it from TWO white house senior sources.
That wouldn't exactly be Hilary Clinton or Ambassador Wilson, would it

10. All the high post count(REAL) freepers want to axe Novakula
instead of the WH leakers. Please notice Nofacts is being scapegoated by them and we shouldn't give an assist. They want to get him because he was against the Iraq war. We need to focus on the leaker, not Novak.

15. Novac was against the war??????
He has been critical of the post-war planning and some of the tactics used by the White House, but I wouldn't consider him to be against the war.

17. Yes he was against the war
Edited on Mon Sep-29-03 01:55 PM by Classical_Liberal
from the beginning. Said Bush should focus on ending the settlements in the west bank instead of war with Iraq if he really wants to stop terrorist. He is very much an enemy of the neocon contingent. Why would I want to waist time on him when I could have them.

3. They live in fantasyland -"Slimy Shrub"
is one of the biggest liars that ever lived. Wilson did it, his wife did it, Clinton did it, Hillary did it, Tenet did it - they don't even realize Tenet is a long time friend & buddy of the bush evil empire

8. they keep claiming wilson outed his own wife...
And they say he did it on his website bio. Then the freepers check out the site and say, "yeah, he did! he did!"

None of those freepers know how to read. All it says on Wilson's bio is that he's married to "the former Valerie Plame and they have two kids." It certainly says nothing about her working for the CIA.

9. Notice how the freepers are discount the effectiveness of the CIA.
The is a classic example of Cognative Dissonance. If the CIA is effective, then their efforts to track WMD and prevent from falling into the hands of potential terrorists is important and the outing of a major operative with a network of assets is a serious crime that has put us all in danger. If the CIA is ineffective, then the outing is no big deal. The freepers know how big this issue is even if they will not admit it to themselves.

Also, I find it amuzing that the freepers think that Wilson leaked the story when the original story from NoFacts says it was a top White House official. More Cognative Dissonance.

20. Yup! And yet after all the CNN coverage today
Judy Woodruff asked one of the reporters on the show "how far will the DEMOCRATS take this story".

It pisses me off big time. That is why I believe this story will go nowhere. This should not be D vs. R.
