Emails to and fro about "pro-troop" BBQ in Crawford....

My first email about the BBQ:
Why would you be involved in the smear campaign of Cindy Sheehan? Let
the woman be heard - she, and all Americans, deserve answers from this
administration. Smear campaigns, like yours, only act to cover-up to the
truth. It's shameful. {my name and address}

His reply:
Please be advised that due to lack of local interest, the pro-troop
rally tentatively scheduled by KWTX-AM, KLFX-FM for this coming Saturday
will not be taking place. Please tune into KWTX-AM, KLFX-FM on Monday
for comprehensive news coverage and commentary on developments related
to the Iraq war protest organized by Mrs. Cindy Sheehan, scheduled to be
held in Crawford this Saturday.

My reply to that:
Please note that Ms. Sheehan's activities are "pro-troop" and should be reported as such.

"Due to the fact that even the goobers down here in Crawford understand the difference between a legitimate protest by a patriotic American woman and a sleazy, cynical attempt at gaining some undeserved publicity by staging a weasel-faced smear campaign, and are smart enough to not let themselves be used by our radio station in the above-outlined sleazy attempt."

That's what they really meant.
