Cindy? Oprah could do it with one 30 sec segment on her show.

3. Oprah's show is in reruns right now until September
Anyway, her show last season was like a televised version of Cosmo magazine. I turned on Ellen instead, who is awesome. By the time Oprah got to it, it would be late Sept. at best.

6. No, I think she's just politically illiterate and therefore ought to stay
far, far away from anything political, esp. on her show. No one with her values and spirituality could BE a Repuglican. No one. I watch her quite often; I know what I'm talking about.

15. I stopped watching Oprah when she started to become a cheerleader
for war.

Her concern for women's right so paramount that she hardly did boo about stopping the shrub from being reelected. She doesn't want to rock any political vote.

7. nope! oprah panders to the soccer (security) moms...
she wouldn't dare do something that "controversial". Won't happen in a million years.

11. she's controversial to mainstream msm because she questions
the reasons for the iraq war. I just don't see oprah going there. She doesn't have that type of show. And I just have a feeling that a lot of oprah watchers are repukes and she doesn't want to open that can of worms. just my humble opinion...

13. I disagree, perhaps I'm Optimistic
Oprah covered RAWA "Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (http://www.rawa.org/ way before the US bombed Afghanistan.

And way before the Corporate Media paid any attention.

Alas, after the bombing, Afghanistan is again in the hands of war makers.

8. I think Oprah is sitting on that razor blade on the middle
of the fence that says you can't take sides. So I doubt it. If she did though, then I would really admire her.

12. That's true, but since one is a so-called Democrat from
a very highly profiled Democratic family, and the other an upstart Republican, she sort of covered her ass with her not too bright audience.

14. OK, anyone out there with a contact to Oprah? Time for her shit or
get off the pot. She has all the money she could ever spend in a lifetime. She can call her own shots. Time for her to take a really tough political and moral stand I say. If she gets this right, she can become a Senator!

She has too many freep-fans and would never take a public stand like that..

Oprah loves Oprah!
