Recent polls. * approval (south turning), Governor, Senators - 50 states
Had been in the habit of checking this site regularly last year, but it had been a while, so I checked in again tonight.

There are poll numbers for bush's approval in each state as of 6/30 - SC is split.GA is split. OH is anti-bush (he didn't effin' win this state last year) . NC is anti-bush!

And this was 5 weeks ago.

1. Ha! I love it. Matt Blunt...
holding steady at 2nd most disliked Governor in the country (Missouri). And he so richly deserves it.

3. Nice poll for Ohio...
Overall 40% Approve, 57% Disapprove, 3% not sure.

Thats about how the election realy came out here in Ohio.
If Ohio an get Bob Taft and Blackwell out of there maybe we will have a chane in 2006.

5. Damn
Vermont and Rhode Island beat us for top disapproval spots. Oh, well 65%, 63%, 62% disapproval is still pretty damned GOOD. :toast:

6. Utah is like Colorado, if . . .
you snipped out Denver/Boulder. The rest of the state is pro-Bush at about 60%.

Dumbasses is right!

8. I was curious about Bush approval ratings across the country
so I created a spreadsheet based on the number of respondents
in a recent national poll, weighting each state based on
population and using their percentages from 2004 as a way of
determining Bush's approval in each state.

Using the 8/5-7/05 Gallup Poll numbers from pollingreport.com,
which had Bush's approval at 45% and his disapproval at 51%,
these numbers resulted:

State Approve Disapprove

ALABAMA 55.5 39.1
ALASKA 53.7 37.3
ARIZONA 48.6 46.7
