ONe of those guys that 'didnt belong' got into his big SUV and got stuck in the mud, RUINING the very neighbor who was mad at us' property. He started spinning his wheels and finally managed to make it out of there.I was glad the cops were there, so the old man wouldnt blame one of us there.

to be a part of HISTORY!!!! I mean, I feel SO blessed and so lucky. How can I NOT go there when I am so close. When I hear how far people travel! Germany and Japan even being there!

Sent a contribution via PayPal yesterday and one thing I'd like to suggest is that when this situation ends or moves to D.C. that some of the money sent be used to clean up and restore the area to its previous state. I read an article yesterday that one neighbor said that it is certainly one's right to protest (and he pointed out how Cindy was on public property), but that some of the signs and banners were being hung in his trees. I think it is imperative that everyone respects the property of those around the Camp. The incident with the angry Freeper spinning his wheels points out what can happen and let's not take any chance on getting blamed for property damage.

Thanks for continuing to be out there. I may make it back on Saturday but I love being able to keep in touch with your photos and Will Pitt's blogging.

I want to add a quick note about the yellow rose Cindy is holding in those photos. When I hugged her I was able to see that the little vase said Texas Democrats on it. Don't know who sent that one, but she walked around with that one for a while.

Love to you TexasLady and your young TxLady too. Your daughter will have stories to tell someday.
