5. Yes..
I posted like 3 threads yesterday when I first heard about the possible arrests trying to see if we could muster up the equip. for a live feed from at least the house if not the camp. I know cameras and etc.are down there but a live feed can be recorded and seen by many and is harder to close down or deny or erase or lose (if you have hundreds watching). I got alot of maybes and ppl saying it was prohibitively expensive. Just irritated because I thought of all our resources this shouldn't be THAT hard to do. Very important to get this on film if it happens because the MSM isn't going to.

Wednesday 10 August 2005

A large flatbed tow truck has been spotted by the side of the road a couple of ranches down. There are a lot of reasons for a ranch to have something like that. Still, it is an ominous sign

3. too late, but yes
a camera can be confiscated. A webcam broadcasts before being confiscated.

Your I-told-you-so's will be fully justified.

9. It is prohibitively expensive

Since there is no cable internet or dsl you would need a mobile satellite internet. I just checked the prices, the equipment costs $1,500, it would need to be attached to a truck and installation would be about $200-$500 plus $99 a month for the service.

12. Keep up with me
and if they make it through the night and we feel there's a breather let's see what we can get done. maybe the below suggestion of Pocket PCs would be easier? Canvass & find out who has acess; someome had posted on one of my threads about this yesterday that they had the satellite service and would be willing to lend it.

11. Lots of Stills Sent from Cellphones Might Be Enough
Everyone has a cellphone, and most phones nowadays have cameras.

Better would be to send video over cellular, but it would be pretty slow video. Not expensive though. Need a data kit for your phone so you can
hook it up to a camera-equipped laptop. A pocket PC would be even better.
