To their credit, they have been running articles on peak oil and suburban sprawl. And it makes a great drop cloth for when I am painting the walls etc.

8. They aren't as blatant as some others but trust me they are shills

and a corporate media company. It's what they DON'T publish or report that gives them away. If you monitor the real news and look for it in the N&O you'll be very disappointed.

I wrote them with verifiable proof re election fraWd and other matters and they've been awol on the truth. i challenge you to review them for a period of time with one question in mind: What news are they covering and NOT covering and what level of true journalism is there?

Their one meager report on the DSM was lacking in background, complete fact, and resulted in editorial director steve ford claiming that there "is no story there".

I canceled my subscription! I encourage you to seriously consider doing the same but only after satisfying yourself with a true examination of there credibility. If you should decide to cancel write them and let them know why.
