2. If I were you

I'd get one of those cheap pup tents that takes about two minutes to put up, make sure it's SIMPLE. Something you can easily put up in the dark if needed. You're not going to feel like hassling with something complicated after a hard day.

Take lots of water, nuts and dried fruit for energy.

Get some nice baby wipes to freshen up with, it's not a shower but it does wonders.

If you can get web service on your cell phone you'll feel more in touch with the world, you can even check on DU :-)

If you are going to sleep next to your car PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET THE EMERGENCY BRAKE. Even on seemingly flat ground this is an important safety measure.

Get plenty of rest before driving, even though you are excited. Sleepiness is the number one killer behind the wheel.

Take your camera and share with those of us who WISH we were going with you. :-)
