Mid-press conference report
They're in the midst of the press conference right now. Cindy spoke first, and they now have other military families from MFSO, etc. speaking. Most of the sentiments being expressed are similar, "You can support your troops and still be ashamed of your government."

Several people have asked how Cindy seems to be doing, health-wise, since recent pictures of her have elicited some concern.

Annie said, "Cindy seems to be holding up well. She seems determined and motivated. She is planning on staying in Crawford until August 31st when Bush returns to D.C. Cindy has said that if Bush doesn't speak to her before then, she is prepared to go to D.C. and camp out until he does."

The press conference is being held in front of the original tent set up for Cindy to sleep in. On either side of the tent are the crosses containing the names of fallen soldiers that they have been putting up. Annie says it is a very powerful image to see.

Annie, Buddy, Ward and Andrea should be able to find a hotel today. Smirkingchimp has said they are going to allow them to use their internet access, so Annie hopes to get pictures to us today.

She also reports that Buddy is walking around talking to law enforcement personell, and that they seem to be getting on fairly well - possibly swapping stories and such.
