The Swiftboating of Cindy Begins, Station Disses Cindy

After yesterday's victory (questionable, since now users of Free Republic are writing the station manager and saying they are interested in the anti-Sheehan barbecue/protest), the right-wingers are now going after Cindy Sheehan with fake documents.

Supposedly, a new letter comes from Casey Sheehan's (Cindy's son, killed in combat in Iraq) supposed, but not proven, aunt and godmother , Cherie Quarterolo, and it was obtained by a right-winger host named Melanie Morgan at the station KSFO. It is signed by "Casey Sheehan's grandparents, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins", although there is no actual name. They are afraid to sign names, because it would then be forgery if they weren't her real relatives.

But in truth, Cindy's family does support her.

In another note, according to "Peace in Pink Shoes", http://www.defiancezone.com/PeaceInPink.php, a radio station is taunting Cindy Sheehan, right across the street:

"Right across the street from them, KLIF radio station is set up to do a broadcasting. They are not supportive of Cindy and have been making a number of comments about Cindy & the protesters. The DJ apparently turned up his speakers pretty loud and said, "Meet with me, Cindy," and then commented that Cindy wouldn't come out to be interviewed by him."

It is said the DJ doing this is Daryl Ankarlo, a right-winger who could make you puke, who has a son fighting in the war in Iraq. Nonetheless, you can write the station at [e-mail] or at 1-214-526-2400 or 1-800-583-1570. You can fax them at 1-214-520-4343. The station, 570 KLIF AM, is a FOX NEWS station, and plays the likes of Bill O'Reilly, Glenn Beck, Dr. Laura, etc, wrapping themselves in the flag.

Tell them it's un-American to be attacking the mother of a dead soldier.

Perhaps Mr. Ankarlo, who is taunting Cindy Sheehan, might think a little differently if his son were to come home in a box. To taunt a mother who has lost a child and is trying to get answers about why her child was sent to a foreign country to die for a lie is despicable. And any station that condones such behavior does not deserve to broadcast on public airwaves. I will most certainly be filing complaints with the FCC.

He can wrap himself (and the rest of you at that station can too) in the American flag, but it doesn't excuse the cruel taunting of a mother who has lost a child. I will certainly pray for his craven, deprived soul.
