Right wing media and activist groups are lambasting little Tommy Jameson (2) for changing his mind about how he feels about the Iraq War.
Tommy lost his father when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in Basra, Iraq, on July 10th, 2004. "He was just fine back then, cooing and 'goo-gooing' all day long!" said Arnold McCracken, head of the recently-formed Would-be Iraq Vets Against Terrorist-lovin' Orphans (WIVATO) "Now all of a sudden, he cries all the time! Flip-flopper!!"
Bill O'Leilly, of Faux News, had this to say in a recent on-screen editorial: "It does nothing for Our Beloved Leader to do anything at all that might lend the impression that everything isn't just peachy-keen with the war... especially if these actions come from the families of those who have served so bravely in defense of our nation!"
Later, when interviewed by O'Leilly, McCracken presented video of an apparently happy 1-year-old Jameson shot by a local news station shortly after the death of his father. He went on further to accuse other groups of aiding terrorism: "It's not just the war orphans. We need to do something about those baby ducks... and kittens too. Their cute images splashed on TV and on our computer screens (sometimes on leftist websites) serve only to lower our suspicion and paranoia, lulling us into a false sense of comfort, giving aid to the terra-ists."
