An Open Letter: Dear Mr. President, Saddam IS Disarmed, Right?

Dear "President" Bush,

I keep hearing you talk about this "important mission" that has to be accomplished in Iraq. I watched the speeches. I heard what your administration in the guise of Colin Powell told the UN (just before you told them to fuck off and launched the war without their authorization anyway).

"Saddam is a grave threat."

"He is reconstituting his nuke-u-lur program."

"We know where the WMD is."

Do you remember all that Mr. President?

I submit to you Mr. President that, as you so boldly proclaimed on board that aircraft carrier, this mission IS accomplished. You are no longer looking for weapons. You have openly admitted he never had them in the first place.

So, can I ask you something? Why the hell do you keep talking to the American people about accomplishing the important mission in Iraq. You have accomplished the mission we went there for. Great job!

Do you have another UN resolution about bringing democracy to the Middle East that I have not heard about? Something that gives international legal authority to our continued presence in the region?

If not, I suggest to you that it is time to bring ALL of our troops home from Iraq, Saudi Arabia and the rest of the region.

Regardless of that you seem to believe that region of the world is not your personal sandbox to play in.

Everyday you keep the troops in the region, having accomplished the mission as we have, it becomes more obvious to the world that your only mission in Iraq is to get YOUR bloody hands on THEIR oil.

Bring the troops home NOW you lying sack of shit!
