really?? I am seeing these messages (of hate) saying she's dishonoring her son. How so? By fighting to pull out other young men and women who may end up dying? By sparing the grief she is going through to other parents??

Anyone who tells Cindy Sheehan that she is dishonoring her son’s memory or failing to support his comrades in arms just doesn’t get it. She is causing all of us to question the sanity of the idea that you honor the fallen by sending more to die in their place. A government has a right to ask for sacrifice in a just cause but this war is so tainted by lies and deception that calling for more Casey Sheehans to die is obscene. The Bush administration has hidden the coffins of the fallen from the public view but Cindy Sheehan is forcing the country to take a hard look at the reality of all those flag-draped caskets streaming home.

I was talking to my mother yesterday, and she said "if you'd been in the military, and gotten killed in Iraq, I'd be out there with her right now." (This from a moderate, 51-year old, middle-class, white-collar professional-type who votes but isn't what I'd call a political activist by any means). Now that it's getting more attention, I won't be surprised to see that there are a LOT of people who feel the same way.
