Anyone hear the interview Randi played on her second hour?
Edited on Thu Aug-11-05 08:19 PM by ailsagirl
I thought she said it was from O'Leilly's show but that surprised
me because HE (whoever the interviewer was) actually let this
woman (who had lost a son in Iraq) talk about her meeting with
chimpo and how "he has no conscience."

I remember in "Outfoxed" how O'Lielly was literally YELLING at this
guy whose father was killed in 9/11-- telling hin to "SHUT UP!!"
(I was appalled)

It's just surprising that lying Bill would allow someone to speak against chimpo.

1. Hi Ailsa! -- here's a link to the video of that interview:
http://www.crooksandliars.com/

Scroll down quite a bit to the section captioned "O'Reilly Lowers The Bar Again" and watch it. It's priceless. I love this woman!!!

2. Yes, he interviewed a Gold Star mother and he was fairly decent
with her, but I have a feeling it's because he really, really wants an interview with Cindy and he wanted her to see how rational and calm he is. It's all about ratings; with Cindy he would get both sides to listen, but I hope she picks and chooses what interviews she does and doesn't give the hate mongers the time of day.

5. I was very, very surprised that he didn't interrupt her

Hell, I was surprised he had her on at all!!

I don't know the woman's name but I liked what she said-- she
was articulate and straightforward. I was very encouraged that
she was able to get her story out. I remember Cindy's story
about when she talked to chimpo-- same thing with this woman.
chimp wanted to hug her????? What a lying hypocrite. I remember
Cindy said called her "Mom." :puke:

8. True. But Bill O doesn't do anything that isn't in his best interest
and he knows Cindy would boost his ratings. I hope she continues to ignore him, Hannity, and all those asswipes that make their living by spewing hate.

6. "fairly decent" being he was pretty much silent... at least, in the
segment I heard on Randi's show.

He's such a joke

3. He had to pretend to be nice or he would've been sliced and diced for
picking on her. He did try to disparage her words by insinuating she and Cindy were being used by the left. He tried to denigrate her nicely instead of with his usual bully tactics, but he did try to denigrate her none the less. She chewed him up and calmly spit him out.

He was outclassed and he couldn't fluster her and bring her down to his usual level in the mud. Probably had a couple of doubles and some falafel-a-la-loofah as soon as the interview was over.

10. Got that just from the parts of it Randi played through out her show today
Can't do the whole interview myself - high blood pressure already and no health care within a hundred miles. I try very hard to avoid stroke inducing experiences and O'Rielly is high on that list ;)

11. That's for sure-- apart from all his other shortcomings, he has
APPALLING manners!! He treats people-- honest, decent people--
like garbage.
