Just look at Cindy Sheehan and listen to the questions she asks and the answers she gives. They are obvious questions and answers that you failed to give voice to. So, Cindy Sheehan has had to single-handedly picked up the flag that to you, Mr. Kerry, was a viper you were too afraid to pick up. And it showed. The current majority of anti-war sentiment could have been crystalized last year, before the election, but you refused to lead the country there. Cindy Sheehan, on the other hand, understands that this is where the nation must go and the truth that must be faced. She is confronting the president with that truth where you and your political calculations failed. You could have been the voice of unyielding truth. You could have grabbed the lightning, but now, you are but a could-have-been, a light that refused to shine. And I know this, because the bright beacon coming from Cindy Sheehan now just makes your cowardice ever-more-obvious in the face of the threat from this administration. It was, ultimately, the only path to victory and you were too afraid to take it.
As of this moment, I hope Cindy Sheehan runs for president. She's old enough, she's compelling, and now she's famous. Whether she won the primary or not, she would be a great addition to the conversation and issues of the race. I would vote for her. If the Dems are set on picking a woman, then pick by all means pick Cindy, not Hillary.
