Ratbastard Republicans and Cindy Sheehan
If anyone would like a glimpse of what the Ratbastard's tactic is going to be against Cindy check out this thread:

http://www.upsizethis.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22407&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

It's on a lefty political discussion board and we have about 5-6 wingnuts who visit now and then. Today they must have all received their talking points and slithered out of the woodwork to attack Cindy.

Point of information: A couple of the Ratbastards on the board have recently started refer to Democrats and the left as the "loony left" and the "collectivist left". I think it is the new Ratbastard meme. I've decided that every time I talk about Ratbastard Republicans I'm going to refer to them as Ratbastard Republicans. But, it's not perfect because it can't be used in polite conversation. I'm open to suggestions. Something that is patronizing, not too harsh, but clearly points out the lying sacks of shit that they are.

6. Just remind your repressive friends
That Cindy Sheehan represents the majority sentiment in the country.

It will drive them crazier, and it has the distinct advantage of being 100% true.

7. of course, Nixon's plumbers had their own nomenclature...
....
political dirty tricks were referred to as 'ratfucking.'
they've either picked up the thread or some of those old ratfuckers are mentoring these young ratfuckers.

point of interest: a lot of Nixon aides went to prison for their ratfucking deeds.

8. "Loony left"
Has been a rightist term for centrists and leftists since the 1960's. "Collectivist left" obviously is trying to claim that everyone left of center is some how a communist. There is a "loony left" in the far far left who believes in conspiracy theories, marxism-lenonism, and ignore economic realities but they are a tiny fraction of the political left. That doesn't stop O'Realy from trooting out a communist or a black seporatist on his show and then claiming they represent everyone who isn't a neo-con in America. It's all part of the misinformation.smear campaign which Republicans run against everyone else. They love to find the most bizarre nutjob on earth and then claim they speak for the Democratic Party.

That's why I get worked up to see some of the people running off with their conspiracy theories here. The rightists love to find one person and use that person to make the whole party look bad; Clinton knew that was true and that's why he used the DLC to try to muzzle the far left of the Democratic Party and to try to force the party to the center. It worked and it could work again but the Republicans have gotting real good at painting us all black because of one nutjob mouthing off on a TV show.

11. I'm old enough to remember the 60s
and the historical usage of the term "loony left". Apparently it is being revived.

10. What's really lame
is they don't have independent thought. They all repeat the same talking points and they think because Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh say it that it's true. :eyes: Why can't they ever say anything original?
