Thomas Lindaman insults Cindy, send a comment to him.
snip>

By way of introduction, I voted for George W. Bush in 2004, and I support the war effort in Iraq. I have friends and loved ones currently serving in the military, and I'm proud of them all. I think we were and are justified to be there and, warts and all, we're doing a good job in fixing up the place so the Iraqi people can start a new life without worrying about Saddam Hussein

snip>

With the right to free speech comes a responsibility to use it wisely. Words can have a damaging effect on others, including the men and women we've trusted to protect us overseas. I want to believe your stance is based on an honest feeling extending from your loss. I really want to like you and hold you aloft as an example of someone who exemplifies the richness of opinion in this country.

But I can't.

snip>

But I can say this without fear of contradiction. If a Democrat party leader at any level persuaded you to use Casey's death as a springboard for you and your cause, shame on them. If you're the one who made that decision, then shame on you. Your son's memory is worth more than a political or social motive, and it is being sullied by the actions being taken. I urge you to reconsider your tactics and come clean with us about your motivations for protesting in Crawford, Texas, while the President is on vacation. Only through complete honesty and disclosure can we be sure to get the answers we seek.

After all, if you can demand the President come clean, you should be willing to hold yourself to the same standard.

Sincerely,

Thomas Lindaman

He states "Only through complete honesty and disclosure can we be sure to get the answers we seek."

Anyone want to give him the honesty and full disclosure he seeks?? Apparently HIS president isn't!

they can be as bad as they wanna be and no one will ever, ever call them on it. They live like indulged adolescents and life is good.

2. This is a prime example of why "Bush conservatives" are whack
"After all, if you can demand the President come clean, you should be willing to hold yourself to the same standard."

Cindy Sheehan is not a public official. Her motive is to stop the War. Yet she's been pretty clear about it.

Has Bush ever been candid bout anything?

28. Of course not
If he was candid he'd say something like this:

"We have to invade Iraq so you can put gas in your car and my oil and defense buddies can make billions. Some people may have to die but that's the price you have to pay for prosperity. Under Clinton the defense contractors and oil companies had to chafe at the bit making millions while Silicon Valley and Silicon Alley made billions. Now their rightful place has been restored. Thank God for 9/11 - er, well maybe there are a few others to thank too. "

16. Yes, I too noticed that this moron is willing to trade American lives
according to a "political or social motive" in Iraq, but has a completely different standard for a "political or social motive" in the United States.

I guess he hates America.

15. I tried to send him a message on the site.
I got a "page not found" error message when I clicked "Send" so I'm not sure if it got through.

I sure would like to wipe that silly smirk off this guy's face. I wish he would apply his vast intellect (and corpulent form) to analyzing the motives of our criminal "president" instead of smearing a brave woman.

He must be quite a man.

24. I get the site just fine
It's the usual crap, a lot like The Common Conservative dot-com, which I gave a mini-review somehwere around here.

Try again a little later -- it shares its pipe to the Internet with the municipal sewer and water-treatment system.

23. Common Conservative dot Com
I "reviewed" that website for DU a couple of years ago. It's basically a bunch of sarcastic, derisive, ridiculing opinion pieces written by self-congratulating conservatives who blame the worries of the world and their own inability to succeed on the Libbruls.

Tom Adkins started that abortion of a website, which is now down for the summer for re-design and Mr. Adkins' honeymoon. Well, congrats to Tom on his marriage, and shame on him for his all-whine-all-the-time website.

However, Adkins should serve as a role model for us, in a perverse way. He wrote so many letters to the editor of the Philadelphia Inquirer that they eventually gave him an editorial writing job! The Inqy has never done that with a liberal writer -- but the Inquirer has also instituted an Affirmative Action program for conservative columnists.

If you want some real conservating writing, by conservatives who do not live for mockery, who can construct a well-turned-out English sentence and make sure that there is rational content somewhere on the page, you'll be out of luck at CommonConservative.com.

But, like Karl Rove, Joseph Goebbels, and the Energizer Bunny, he stays on-topic.

All.

The.

Time.

25. "we're doing a good job in fixing up the place "????
Yeaah . . . it's about the same as that Double Whopper with cheese Value meal fixing up your cholesterol problem, isn't it fucko?

Your "president" is a puppet. This administration is a sham. The odds of them accomplishing SOMEthing successfully are growing greater than that of winning the Mega Millions . . . twice.

Of course, a 48-hour IV drip of Red Bull and Gurauna couldn't wake these people up . . .

Big man, pig man, ha ha charade you are.
You well heeled big wheel, ha ha charade you are.
And when your hand is on your heart,
You're nearly a good laugh,
Almost a joker,
With your head down in the pig bin,
Saying "Keep on digging."
Pig stain on your fat chin.
What do you hope to find.
When you're down in the pig mine.
You're nearly a laugh,
You're nearly a laugh
But you're really a cry.
