* is in the driver's seat and can end the Cindy Sheehan movement today
Edited on Fri Aug-12-05 06:24 AM by Walt Starr
It's simple, really.

When his motorcade passes by Camp Casey, all he has to do is demonstrate just a little courage.

All he has to do to bring this movement to a screeching halt is stop the motorcade, get out, and talk to the lady.

If he takes his medicine like a man, he gets a short term hit but it GOES AWAY.

I don't think he has even that level of courage.

1. Fucker couldn't even form a coherent sentence.
It's all about his handlers. I really doubt that W speaks off the cuff, and in the event that he does, his handlers go into damage control mode.

I don't think that * even believes half of the shit he says. He's just a chickenshit sloganeer.

2. Two things
Edited on Fri Aug-12-05 06:28 AM by pointblank
One, Security issues...I don't know if you have ever seen Chimpies motorcade...its huge.

Two, Say he does do this...Exactly how does this thing go away? I mean, would all of a sudden everyone just go home and quit talking about this?...I hope not, because if this is really is ALL based on whether or not this fool is going to talk to Cindy, then I can't really see the point, because he is NOT going to do it....

No, its about more than just * talking to Cindy.

3. He won't even be driven past; he takes a chopper straight to the AF base..
...where Air Force One is waiting.

Betcha a nickel he's NEVER ridden past the ditch
where those good folks are encamped.

5. Not defending *, but the SS probably wouldn't let him at this point
Too many people out there, and they would take it as a security risk. The coward should invite her inside the compound, doesn't even have to be in the house, and talk to her. The biggest problem is that he doesn't understand what it is she wants to talk about.

6. He may not understand, but his handlers sure do.
They know that the questions she is trying to ask can never be given satisfactory answers. They know that they can never adequately prepare the Chimp with simple rote answers for an off-the-cuff interview, and he would melt into a truly bumbling fool. And even if they quietly bring her into the compound sans media, she would quickly go back out and report everything in their conversation, and the media would be all over it with very one-sided coverage.

I agree that the SS will never let him near Camp Cindy, and a one-on-one meeting is the only option. But even that is too bitter a pill for them to swallow, so they will ignore and delay and spin and hope she just goes away, or at least hope the media move on to the next terror-alert/missing-teenager/runaway-bride update.

I don't mind, though. He'll eventually have to answer Cindy's questions. The longer he waits, the more damning his answers are going to be.
