I have been sitting here reading this morning and something came into my head and then followed into my heart and I need to share it because I'm shaking with hope.

We have many issues going on today, August 12th, exactly 43 days before the lawn of the White House is going to be inuated with hopefully a million or more people. We have Cindy Sheehan as a beginning ray of light and hope and a beginning of a movement with the pressure in Crawford. We have people really upset with a favority of subjects from hiding the prison tapes, War, gas prices and the list goes on. So here is what popped into my head. We have 43 days till the party starts at the White House. And simple old me here has seen that this little DU site has the power to generate and enourmous amount of energy (money, support you name it). So why not start the group in Crawford and add on more subjects to be invited to the White House from now until we get the answers. Cindy is saying I'm not moving until you come out. So why aren't we all saying it. Let's invite to the White House the homeless, the returned vets with injuries, the poor single moms and the list could go on, all to have a big "ole" party on the White House lawn. We have the movment started, people are paying attention so lets make it big. Why don't the people that know musicians, ask them to play. We have one chance here folks. Our answer is no longer in the hopes of the people INSIDE the White House. We have to make the answers. Cindy has opened up the world of consciousness and the media and this is only a start. WE THE PEOPLE OF THIS UNITED STATES need to show George Bush and everyone inside his house what the world exists of.

I saw on here there is lots of support. We could feed many, celebrate the coming together, create a "love in" of sorts and bring all of us togther. I hear a lot of people saying where are the DEMS? We are right here and there are many of us and growing. Many of you are highly motivated and intelligent people. We had this chance right after 9/11 and to be honest, we might not get another chance. There are a lot of pissed off unhappy people in the US of A today, why not invite them to a party outside the White House, one that never ends. Invite everyone, not just on one weekend but until the winter months set in. There are a lot of homeless people on the streets already, why don't we all live in front of the White House. I maybe crazy, but this makes sense. Let's bring back the 60's folks. They were great times of love and caring. Let's do a peacefest right there on Georgies front lawn, something he can look out and see everyday. We are smart people, we could do this in large masses. Come on people, what do you say. Could it work? Could we feed the people and WE THE DEMS could carry Cindy's movements to a higher level. Can we do it?

6. Well we as a people here

could get the party started for Cindy now, 43 days before it begins. We don't have to put all of the pressure on Cindy, but she is the person most famous going to be on the White House steps that day. Let's get a huge welcome starting here, starting on DU and get it moving. Look what happened at Crawford in one week. The movement has started, WE THE PEOPLE need to keep it going.

Isn't this type of sit-in that you are describing exactly what the Veterans for Peace did in the early 70s in DC? I can't remember the year but it was an organized campsite, peaceful and he ended up testiifying eloquently and beautifully before a hearing, articulating what they all felt. I get chills just thinking of it. See Going Up River to actually see it all. I wish that man would come back and speak from his heart again. That young man was so much that we all need. It's that passion that Cindy has now. The matter of fact bare bones truth of war and its senselessness. Man I am so go to DC in September now. We should all.

10. What Bigger Lawn is there

except for the White House lawn. Come on folks, we could have a tent city, a home for all the distraught. Do you know home many people go to a really good concert? You could get 500,000 come just to see a good performer. Don't tell me that we couldn't do this. And to be honest, look how long it took to get any movement, in the last 3 years. You people keep wanting to pass the buck off to the next guy. If every person who couldn't go would send someone that could, we could rotate. We have to make this an eye sore to Bush inside that house. Look how damn nervous he is with just one little ole woman knocking on his door. Every person today that is pissed that they don't get to see prison tapes, say EY! Every person on there way to work today that was pissed off because of gas prices, say EY! Every mother and father who lost someone or someone who is now maimed because of this war say EY! Every person so said EY needs to send someone down there to represent them. They can attend free concerts, free food, we could do this guys. We have to stop passing the buck, if it doesn't work on the 24th of Sept, any weekend after will do. People are willing to take vacations in a ditch, with fire ants to help the cause of Ciny. Every person that said EY previously, please tell me why this couldn't and shouldn't work.
