President Clinton is Losing this war in Iraq, how SHALL we deal with him?
(headline from another dimension similar to ours)

Support for President Clinton plummets as the G.I. death toll reaches 2,000, and 14,000 injured, and over 100,000 dead Iraqi Civilians, and 4 years after Bin Laden attacked new york and the pentagon, with bin laden still on the loose.

Republican leaders are calling for the castration and public lynching of President Clinton, who apparently went on a month long vacation 7 months into his first term after receiving a memo saying bin laden was going to attack soon, and didn't feel it necessary to inform america.

Republicans have successfully started proceedings to indict President Clinton as a war criminal and genocidal maniac, and have already impeached him three times for lying in his state of the union address and many press conferences.

President Clinton is already under indictment for blowing the cover of an undercover c.i.a. agent as revenge for being exposed as a chronic, congenital liar, an act of high treason. And Clinton's refusal to meet with the mother of a fallen soldier to explain what noble purpose her son died for isn't helping his poll numbers.

New laws are being drawn up by republican lawmakers to allow the torture of President Clinton before his war crimes tribunal begins, and preventing him from having any legal defense during the process.

4. OOOOOhhhh...This Should Be Good
Reminds me of the Rush Limbo game I play. Just take anything that eminates from his Oxy-stained brainstem, replace Repugnican with Democrat, Hillary with Pickles, Michael Moore with Ann Coultergeist and so on, and his show becomes very entertaining.

Mo...which hypocrisy is the worst? The list will clog down DU...

Cheers...

6. How to make a republi-bot's head explode:
Point out that they would be SHREDDING Bill Clinton if he had presided over such a massive failure.

They KNOW they would.

And they can't explain-- really truly explain -- why they give Bush a free pass, because that would force them to confront all the delusions, ignorance and contradictory data they've built their idiot "politics" on.

Seriously, to be a Bush apologist you have to be mentally ill. Cognitively damaged. A sound, healthy person simply cannot sustain the dissonance that these people walk around with in their heads every day.

10. It's weird that this does and doesn't sound strange at the same time.
I guess I'm both 'reality-based' and 'thru the looking glass' at the same time.

It seems to me GWB and Co. should be on trial for war crimes, etc.
But also seems just as likely it could all be blamed on BC.

This is a good piece. It's made me think about what a strange world the US is at the moment.

Thanks for making me feel weird. I mean it.

14. This is funny and makes a great point, but he was on TV last night
supporting the DLC line about how we're there now and have to stay the course and get the job done and I was ready to puke!

There is nothing for us to do there that will improve the situation! We need to get out!

Bill Clinton: they KNOW that he was the last elected president who was allowed to take the oath of office.

19. It's Amazing To Me That Some of the Posters To This Thread....
have interpreted that the initial post was to blame Clinton for all that has transpired in the last 5 years.

For those of you that hink this is what this post was about - you missed the point - it was really put out there to illustrate that if Bill Clinton presided over the what * has brought on - the Repugs would have had his head.

It was put out there for the Repugs (unfortunately they don't regularly read DU) to see how hypocritical they are.

I copied the initial post and sent it to all my Repug friends(sic)to make that point.

25. You know that this question would never even come up.
Edited on Sat Aug-13-05 02:31 AM by Kool Kitty
There would be no war in Iraq, because Clinton wouldn't have been around to start it. He would have been burned at the stake on September 12, 2001, for allowing the attacks to occur on September 11, 2001. The villagers with their torches and pitchforks would have surrounded the White House and dragged the poor man out and burned him on the White House lawn.
