These people are like about half of my customers: they spend $40,000 on a pickup then go into apoplectic shock if they get a scratch in the bed or the bedliner gets scuffed up. Which is insane to me; if you buy a pickup, you're supposed to haul cargo in it, and scratched-up beds happen when you haul cargo.

And I'll answer where Laura Bush drives: nowhere. She doesn't go anywhere in it. She can't leave the pig farm in that vehicle; as the wife of the pResident, if she wants to go out of the secure area she's got to be in an armored vehicle with four full-size doors so the Secret Service can cram her in if need be; there are pickups that would work but she's not standing in front of one of them.

Since none of us can actually VISIT the pig farm, you don't see how many hours went into getting this shot. It's posed as hell and you can see that just by looking at it. Examine the edge of her truck door: it's perfectly clean. Now go outside and look at the edge of your car door. I bet it doesn't look like that. I bet the trucks at the dealer don't have door edges that are that clean. And the lighting is all wrong: background brighter than foreground?

The GWB photo is staged too. Look at his hand on the door handle. Nobody opens the driver's door with his right hand. Go try it. Driver's doors are left-hand outswing; it would be uncomfortable to open one with your right hand.

That is either a large SUV or a large pickup. I suspect it has running boards for her to step up into the cab.
