It would seem that Cindy Sheehan's efforts are much like those of the mothers of the disappeared in Argentina. Didn't the public presence of grieving and protesting mothers became an irresistable force? How similar, now we have mothers protesting outside our emperor's palace, seen by the public, but ignored by el presidente for life, *.

I find his statement "I grieve for every lost life..." to be empty, a prepped line and beyond irony that he could say yet refuse to act.
