I have to assume the folks were no threat since they aren't in custody. Not that that means anything.... :(

Residents of a house on Baghdad's Palestine Street said that U.S. soldiers searched their home at 0300 local time Friday morning (2300 GMT), breaking open the front door, ransacking the interior, and torching their car. 2. I just gotta post this from Phil Och's "Cops of the World."
"We'll smash down your doors, we don't bother to knock
We've done it before, so why all the shock?
We're the biggest and toughest kids on the block
'Cause we're the Cops of the World, boys
We're the Cops of the World"

Looks like we're making friends right and left all over the world. </sarcasm>

4. We can't blame the troops.
They only do what they are told to do, whether they like it or not. I bet most of them will have nightmares for the rest of their lives. I know my hub still does (Vietnam) after 35 years, even tho they're just occasionally now.
