A conservative's view on Cindy Sheehan's protest
Edited on Fri Aug-12-05 10:14 AM by proud2Blib
This probably belongs in the lounge; it is rather humorous.

This is why we have to get rid of the news media. One woman demonstrates against the Iraq war and the media portrays her as millions of people. What a joke. This dingbat doesn't know what the war is about. She should go bake a cake or something she knows how to do. How dumb can people be?

Here's a quote from the article:
A group called Gold Star Families for Peace, relatives of soldiers who have died in Iraq and other wars, plans to protest in tiny Crawford on Saturday, demanding Bush withdraw U.S. troops.

So, this group has 1 member and the media is following the group to Crawford and stirring up hate Bush people. This is as bad or worse than the media covering the million woman march (3 women showed up) in Atlanta a year or so ago and saying what a great event it was. There were more leftist media members than the MMM group. What a joke!!!!!

1. Very, very sad. No compassion for Cindy's loss whatsoever. But
ye shall reap as ye sow. This person, God forbid (s)he loses a child, may not find compassion for their pain either.

6. I noticed that
it seems okay for them to restrict OUR free speech whenever we say something they disagree with.

Didn't communist countries restrict the press? So would this guy be recommending a communist tactic when he says we need to get rid of the media? Surely not, since they like to call US commies.

That's because millions are demonstrating against the war.
