Help me here, If the "Right" doesn't like dissent,

Isn't that the mark of a country that is NOT 'free'?
Isn't that what Saddam supposedly was guilty of?
Or any other dictatorial despot?
Tow the 'patriotic' line, or pay the price-

America 'love it or leave it' makes the notion of us being the "land of the free, and the home of the brave" an oxymoron.

But i'm just a stupid bleeding heart liberal- and not ashamed of it.
Because i DO have a heart that is not hardened, and i AM free to think outside the 'lines'-

When that is no longer true, please, kill me, if i haven't already done that myself.

... similar in nature to peer pressure in school. A herd instinct. To actually think about the country's culture, politics and history is sort of dangerous to those who don't. :)

6. Better yet, if they don't like dissent,

why are RW groups camped outside PP clinics, sitting in courhouse yards yammering about Ten Commandments, hollering about flag burning and a myriad of issues? That's not dissent? If one form of dissent is not acceptable then then none should be, regardless of content. Tell them "Put that in your pipe and smoke it."
