Remember one thing
Who was it that brought down the military junta in Argentina? "The Mothers of The Disappeared". These brave women who gathered every day, at the Presidential Palace and marched for their missing children.

We have another brave woman down in Crawford, Texas right now.

Mrs Sheehan, thank you. You are quite possibly the start of a big change in this country. If I could, I'd be in Texas with you tomorrow. But, if you go to Washington next month, I'll be there!

of the COmmunist government over the Afghani War.

4. Good comparison because for decades Argentina was....
... a fascist state just like the U.S. has become under Bush

7. Sting's: "Dancing with the Dead" - about the wives and
mothers of the Disappeared. A haunting song.

8. You read my mind!
(Fellow Sting fan....)

This is how it starts folks--with middle class white America getting pissed about being cannon fodder. People didn't pay enough attention to Viet Nam when it was poor black kids getting killed either.
My husband works for a school district that is largely poor Hispanic. He says you can't even move without tripping over an Army recruiter at these schools.
