If there are ties, they are not at an organizational level. Certainly, both organizations are anti-immigrant, and thus may pull from the same crowd, but there's no actual organizational ties between the two. At least, nothing has come up so far...
On edit: for the record, I'm pretty strongly against illegal immigration myself. Yes, illegal aliens take jobs that most of us don't want, but they take them for incredibly low wages, which drives down average wages for everyone. Construction is a perfect example. As a result, we get cheaper, weaker labor, which is exactly what the GOP wants -- IMHO, almost everything they do leads to the goal of cheap labor. The problem is that we are punishing the illegals. We should be punishing the people who hire them. There should be a law, maybe a $10,000 fine for every illegal hired.
