Can I please make a request. Please. This protest is about Cindy.

Cindy went to Crawford with nothing. Others have shown up to support her. Cindy is getting what she needs. That is what is most important. She has food, shelter, transportation, and even a B&B on standby if she needs to go there.

If we are going to support Cindy, we don't need to trouble her with the crises that may, or may not, have been created by so many people showing up. Each of us who are going to Crawford needs to resolve our own problems instead of letting word get to Cindy that people don't have what they need. We know Cindy's personality. She's motherly, and she will worry about US instead of herself.

If we are going to discuss problems at the protest, let us do it in a rational way, in which we can find solutions. Panicking will not solve anyone.

I suggest that the best way to ascertain if the protest is needing food, transportation, etc, is to call the Peace House and talk to the organizers. Ask what you can do. Ask what you can bring.

PLEASE, let's work in unison. Division only gives the other side satisfaction and power over us.

and i want to know what exactly to bring. I am going to stop by Sam's club and get some gatorade (non coke product thank god) and water. Anything else they need?

8. adarling - the best thing i can think of right now is to make sure

to check the latest threads from the people who are down there
that should give you a good idea of what they want people to bring

but off the top of my head if you want to contribute i would suggest making sure to bring what you need to take care of yourself (sun screen water hat etc) and perhaps call the peace house beforehand to make sure if you dont see here what is needed

they have so much going on that whatever you can do to get the information beforehand im sure is a help
and just in case you didnt know this make sure to go to the peace house about parking the car and getting a ride to/from the camp because they cant have any more cars apparently

14. I just got back...

...I made the mistake of bringing $100 worth of food that they already had. They need flashlights and tents and big cars that can carry people back and forth from the campsite to Peace House.

is giving the freeps ammo. They do come here and watch you know. This is supposed to be a peaceful support crew for a mothers protest against the war. Lets keep it that way. We also need to get everyone to keep their cool if the freeps show up for an "anti-protest" you know their whole aim is to go down there and stir shit up so the cops have to shut it down. They couldn't give a shit about the troops.
