tho sometimes you'll have to dig a little deeper than other times, and sometimes it'll be actually a little painful. But I don't get my news and analysis anywhere else, and haven't for years now.

I've learned so much on these boards, not to mention, the LBN (Latest Breaking News) has WAY more up to date news than most of the major news orgs.

I was online here when the bombings in London happened - couldn't find info anywhere else BUT DU for several minutes. A wonderful DU'er in London provided blow-by-blow details of the horrible day.

And there was a tsunami warning that I learned about here for the CA, OR, and WA coast that didn't even make it to CNN, until AFTER the warning had been pulled!

Three cheers for LBN!! :) And of course, for all the fine discussions and the mods too! :)
