Sometimes when I read a post
I bow my head and want to reply as if it would make a change, but nothing I can say can take away all the Wrong that has been done by our country and I remain speechless. I just want the rest of the world to know that the majority of us here in the US have been hijacked by these greedy fools in power. and it can happen any where, we are after all as americans, a collective of all the world, and we were caught off guard, but we won't give up the fight for the unity of our people that represent the planet. Peace

8. W has no conscience and is incapable of shame....
There are days when I just want to scream out to the world..'I'M SORRY FOR WHAT BUSH HAS DONE.' I don't recognize my country anymore....yet I need to fight to get it back. I hate that our 'leaders' have hurt so many people here and abroad.

I don't think these rich, greedy neocons can be shamed...they feel absolutely 100% entitled. I have found ridicule to be an effective tool, however. Sarcasm is good, too. Fear can work too....remind them that when the Depression comes, we WILL eat the rich! Their eyes get big when they hear that....!

I am not a violent person....but ever since the '04 was rigged, I declared 'Nice to be Over!'

4. I believe the rest of the world, like my country, knows the American
people are good people and have been trapped in this mess with George Bush and his buddies....You are right, it could happen to any country....Just know that we are with you.....This too shall pass....

9. Those are all my favorite colors!
I often times read a post, bow my head
think of how to reply- and experience such
a gammet of emotions so rapidly. I can't
type fast enough, then the thought is gone
just as quickly- replaced with frustration,
and anger.

Staying on track when talking about any
issue these poor excuses for humans have
touched is not easy. I promise to keep
working on it.

7. With any luck at all, this debacle will snap Americans back to
reality and make them see what other countries have been dealing with for eons. Somehow we let this happen and, if nothing else comes of it, I hope we have learned the lesson that checks and balances are what made this country great; that no one could come into this great country and declare themselves king or dictator - not here. I'm 62 and all my life I was told that we should NEVER have one party in control of all branches of government, and yet we let it happen. I think it happened because of the voting process being highjacked, and yet I have seen very few high-profiled Dems in Wash saying much about this, and that makes me go hmmmmmm. Is it because they have been bought and assured of their jobs? I hope not. Until we eleminate voter fraud, we will not have a democracy; that is of the utmost importance for America to survive.

11. "caught off guard"? No way, many knew Bush was impending disaster
and ended up being made prophets in simply speaking out among work colleagues about what a disaster Bush would be (making them "uncomfortable" in so doing) or speaking out during the 2000 Florida mess, or speaking out against the tax cuts and speaking out against the war (all of this causing normal people (read apathetic) to kind of shrink away.

The lesson to pass down to your children is no matter the innate disabilities and weaknesses of our "democracy" (the excuses often given for not caring about politics) political apathy and indifference are beneath contempt.

So please, never remain speechless. We can and must repair the damage we have done. There is no other pathway to a decent future.
