for reminding me again why I am a liberal. Why I could never be a violent and hateful conservative like he and his friends. Call me naive. Call me idealistic. Call me stupid. I don't mind. All I know is that I do not believe that killing all the people that disagree with us will solve anything. I will not wrap myself in the American flag and pretend it is some type of untouchable protection. I do not accept "my country, right or wrong". I accept that my country will be right and I will criticize it when we are wrong. I do not accept violence as a solution to anything. I feel sorry for you but I thank you for making me feel proud to be a liberal.

5. A Black-Sheep Relative

Every family's gotta have one. Ours is my cousin-in-law's brother...a Sabra (native born Israeli) who I've known for over 35 years. Eddie came here in the early 80s...has lived off hand-outs from the family, but sure loves to think he's a "REAL" American.

For the past couple years, it's been my pleasure to bitch slap him around with his right wing talking points...to the amusement of my other family members who look at him as being as much a loser as I do.

Last time I saw him...in April, he had the guts to tell me he listened to Savage and how he spoke "the truth". I looked at him and asked "do you know his real name?" Eddie looked at me and said "It's Michael Savage...". I said, "no it isn't...it's Michael Weiner", Eddie, always sure (just like the fool he is) kept arguing with me that he wasn't lying about his real name. Finally another cousin, who works (or worked...she lost her job) in radio not only confirmed what I said but joined in as we said what a sexist and racist tool of the right wing. Eddie then decided he needed to go outside for a smoke.

The ignorance of these listeners would be amusing if they would just stay home and not vote.

6. Michael Savage is a rabid, caustic ball of anger...

...I listen to him because I know that any moment, he will explode. I want to hear it when it happens. I've never heard anyone so brimming with vitriol.

Savage actually said that God created the tsunami, to punish the Muslims for their awful religion and behavior. He's said this many times. He loves repeating it.

The man is venom personified.

I don't listen everyday. So please, if the man does implode from his seething, white-hot, non-stop rage--let me know.
