Stevie Wonder is getting wise in his old age.
I just saw his video for "What the fuss" and caught some of the lyrics which can be found here:

http://www.stevie-wonder.com/song/id_551_get_lyrics_What_The_Fuss.html

And indeed ".. if we live in a democracy and you don't use your
power to vote
Knowin some would like to turn back the hands of time

Shame on us "
"And should there be just a handful that believe that
we are totally free
And there's no need to fight for equality

Shame on us "

Too bad he keeps on delaying the release of his new album, we could need some of his wisdom right now.

It's been a long time since Stevie's had a message song that resonated with the broader pop fan base. Here's hoping "What the Fuss" gets plenty of airplay.

It's that
Love's in need of love today
Don't delay
Send yours in right away
Hate's goin' round
Breaking many hearts
Stop it please
Before it's gone too far

And after having lived through the civil-rights movement he realizes things are worse now for a lot more people.
The chorus of the song also echoes one of *'s worse bushisms.
