Support the US?

Rally against the US?

Support the US until it uses less-than-conventional means?

3. What a day it is when Germany warns America off of military action
What universe am I living in?

(Note it gives me some hope.. I mean if Germany can grow up so much. But my God, what will we have to endure for growing pains to get to where they are now?)

14. The Germans are among the first to speak out against war.
A lot of Germans killed a helluva lot of people.

A lot Germans were killed. Stalingrad, etc...

Gott sei Dank. Die Deutschen haben was gelernt.

Schade, die Amis haben Bush.

Stand up and tell Bush to ram his bombs up someplace else.

It is like Bush said, either you are with him, or you are against him.

Soon Bush will ask Europe for help. Europe should tell him to stick it.

I am not a rocket scientist, but assuming Iran were building a bomb, would they not first have to test it at which time consideration could be given to a military strike? Or can the Iranians build a nuclear bomb in secret?

It is hard for me believe the Americans do not have proof one way or the other about a bomb, but even then, using the logic, I guess America should attack itself. America has proven to be not friendly to many foreign powers either.

4. Even the most gung-ho European nations (UK, Italy) couldn't sustain
another stupid US war politically, I'd guess. They would tut their disaproval from the sidelines or stay publically neutral while hinting at condemnation around election times.

So if the US does actually wage war on Iran (which actually I think is very unlikely in the short term: they're already struggling to sustain their position in Iraq, with recruitment dropping by the month and public disapproval mounting) then they'll be doing it either alone or with minor help from a few third world countries that they can bribe or bludgeon into supporting them.

Just mho..

5. They will in some fractioned 'coalition' ....
go along Nato wise with the Bush Regime, World War 3 or 4 (whatever, some people called the cold war 3) will break out over all this shit at some point. And eventually the EU will turn on the Bush Regime. All hell will break loose, but in the end Bush and his cronies will be tried on War Crimes against humanity. The End. Keep the faith, never give up never surrender! Peace. :)

8. Bullshit!
Tony Blair has used up ALL his political capital by "standing by" shrub in the last genocidal debaucle called Iraq. There will be zero support from the EU for another preemptive attack this time on Iran. However, we might be mocking chimp soon by saying "you forgot Zimbabwe"! He'll be careful to never mention Israel even though they're trying mightily to be the blasting cap to set the next conflagration off in Iran. They're good at playing "let's you and him fight."

:) .... but IMHO .... Blair and Bush are tied at the hip. Whether Blair likes it or not (I really don't think he does at this point) but I think Bush has him under the gun. The thugs in this administration are like the political mafia, making offers some people can't refuse. This shit fires me up too .... but if anyone will go into Iran with the USA in whatever form that comes about, Britain will unfortunately be there. I'm not saying the British people will back this shit up. But I don't think the American majority will back this shit up either. Where's our voice in this? Think the powers that be are going to listen to us? I'm begining to think the words 'poitical capital' are as worthless as a wooden nickel. That's where the bullshit comes in. Anyway, I hope YOU are correct and the USA does this crime alone. The rest of the world needs to stand up to this Regime and say NO. Peace, brother, or sister. :)

on edit: spelling.

12. Think about,it, you live in Teheran. You may or may like the Iranian...
government. You have two children and a lovely wife. The kids are in school and your wife is shopping near the school. Whoosh, a missle flys past your office window, heading in the direction of your kids and wife.

13. EU will be in deep trouble
A US attack on Iran will precipitate a response by Russia. There is no way Russians will watch idly as Iran is nuked to hell. EU would go overdrive trying to placate Putin, but I don't think they would be very successful. Putin doesn't even have to bomb anyone; almost all EU's oil and gas imports are from Russia. If Russia cuts off the flow, we're f*cked down here.

that Bush has zero support from the EU.

Perhaps EU can tell the United States that bases will not be used for such operations. I do not know the situation about the agreements the Amis have pertaining to US bases in Europe. Europeans will have to make it clear that Bush is a renegade. Europe would have to undergo a collective lobotomy to go along with Bush regarding such an escapade.

16. Not going to attack Iran
This is all macho bluster. Bush's military (as opposed to the real military of the US) can't sustain another war. He can hyperbolize all he wants, but the will and resources aren't there to make it happen...he'd lose the Pentagon and I think we'd face the very real (if remote) possibility of a military coup against Bush. If the US still had a free election process, it would cinch the Chimp's impeachment. If we had some sort of retaliation from Iran (and we would), there would be mass panic in the streets. Since our lords and masters need no longer fear our voting them out, all that is left for them to fear is rioting in the streets. They can't put that down without the National Guard and, gee, I wonder where they all are.

If I were a conspiracy theorist, I'd really wonder if this wasn't all being orchestrated from outside the US to destroy us in the first place. I can't see how any thinking person could determine that this mess will help the US, but then we're talking about RW'ers here.

18. They don't need to do anything but sit back and wait.
I'm assuming you mean how will they deal with the US global resource grab- not the moral question.

Look at Iraq- the US is going to be pushed out of Iraq eventually. There's no doubt of it. And when we're out, will they do business with the US, when they've got the EU and China to choose from? I doubt it.
