Just watch the fundies
trick Israel into attacking Iran. That is why Bush called Israel and addressed the Israeli people the other day. That is why he is keeping all his 'options' on the table. That is why his surrogates are saber rattling to beat the band.

All Bush needs is some excuse to attack Iran's nuke program, such as another al Qaeda attack against Israeli/US interests, preferably with a dirty bomb or chemicals that will of course come from Iran.

Everyone knows that the US Military is in no shape to attack another country. However on the other hand, Israel has one of the biggest and well equipped armies in the world. They are already in the region and they are ready and rested. Bush is going to convince the Israelis to initiate the attack in response to whatever crisis they cook up against Iran.

That is how they are going to get their Armageddon on. That is the only way they can start the Rapture. That is how they are going to trick the people of Israel into destroying themselves, all in the name of security.

1. No one is tricking Israel into attacking Iran. Israel is tricking the US
in supporting any invasion they have planned for Iran. Last year during the election there was the rumor about bombing Iran. The US wouldn't dare do it without UN approval. However, if Israel bombs Iran with US backing, the neo-cons think no one will say anything.

it could be the other way around....with Iran attacking Israel "pre-emptively" because both nations will be on their most paranoid behavior with hair-trigger mentalities by the time BushInc is done "catapulting the propaganda" on both.

And, of course, BushInc will just HAVE to come to defend their ally....and thus, poor BushInc will be forced into another war they "didn't want"...cough, cough.

3. Israel will do nothing.
With the disengagement taking place on Wednesday and over the next month, they will not have the time nor energy to focus on anything else.

4. I think they will have plenty of military to spare
and the attack doesn't necessarily have to be within this month. Sept or Oct is always a better time to roll out a new product.
