a HUGE shift in MAJOR media reporting: "RESISTANCE FIGHTERS"

in the dizzy blur of Arnulled and Laci, punctuated by the sweet beat of Joe Wilson and Novacula, there has been a SIGNIFICANT sea-change in Iraq War reporting that SLAPS BushCo just as hard as any of the recent shitstorms.

the major (read: not the useless cable whores) media have refused the 'it's just terrorists' WH rhetoric regarding ongoing fighting in Iraq.

today, in an AP report (is that right?) and on ABC Evening News (others??? I could only watch one) the resistance in Iraq was called what it is:

RESISTANCE. RESISTANCE to American OCCUPATION.

there was an extended battle today. it was reported as RESISTANCE FIGHTERS.

this is big. not as immediately sexy as Rove/Wilson/Plame etc.

but, BIG.

IMHO, now that it has now become fashionable for even the Repubs to question ShrubCo's motives in Iraq, the media FINALLY starts calling the resistance in Iraq what it naturally is: RESISTANCE; as opposed to "Terrorist Attacks".

I only wish these "new" naysayers would have listened to us 12 months ago instead :(
