CRAWFORD RALLY TO SUPPORT OUR TROOPS LOCATION UPDATE

The Crawford Police have just notified me that our location for the Support the Troops rally has been changed. Please congregate at the Crawford Civic Center, which is located in the 1000 block of East 4th Street. Start time remains 12 Noon. The new site is very near the first site we were assigned, so people going there by mistake should be able to see us and come on over.

with Guy. They are wildly underequipped, and Guy is always so well prepared.

That Freep page you linked is horrifying. They are so s-l-o-w, aren't they? Someone referred to a "trool" messing with their message board.

Someone referred to Cindy as a "media whore."

Some of them imagine Cindy is trying to conceal her meeting with George Bush, when she has NEVER DENIED IT. She has gone on tv and discussed it with probably every cable news show host available, at length!

Very sad group of people. I'll bet there are far fewer of them than people realize. They're just loud, stupid, rude, and pushy, they get in the road of real communication. That's probably their intention.

9. Some stuff that GJ should know

The media has picked up on the "counter-protesters" that were bussed in yesterday, but NOT ONE WORD has been mentioned about their horrible behavior and chanting "we don't care".

IMHO, it would be important for GJ to discuss some of the facts surrounding that little "counter-protest". Let the world know that they were not citizens who felt compelled to act on their own----THEY WERE BUSSED IN ON A CHARTERED BUS. Let the world know that they were there only long enough for a photo-op, then back on the bus to return back to whatever rock they crawled out from under. Let the world know that they only stopped chanting "we don't care" to a grieving mother long enough to have the media take their picture while they waved their flags.


The media is complicit in this lie of a "counter-protest".

11. Any Linux compatible streams available?

I usually snag Guy off the White Rose Society Web site and podcast it. It would be very nice to be able to listen live. But, of course, Xmms, MPlayer, VLC, and RealPlayer don't support this Codec.

So I guess us Linux users have to wait until after the fact.
