Women in Iraq are being punished, sometimes killed, for wanting their rights/ their freedoms.

There is one woman who is doing something about it.

1. 'Honor killings' of women have increased
since US war. Islamic hard-liners have re-emerged, and the abuse of women is allowed.

This sickens me. But it is good to see the Iraqi woman being so courageous in her effort to protect women.

The pictures of those women dressed in black - head-to-toe, faces covered - scary. Seems some women have been forced back in time, losing their freedoms.
